Women-owned businesses...?
I am preparing to start a pest control business in Arizona. I have only found two grant programs I may qualify for. However, there are literally dozens and dozens of special grants for women-owned businesses! Does anyone have any experinece in Arizona with the SPCC at licensing? I'm awaiting a response back from the SPCC and need to know if this is possible: Register my wife as the business owner with no license. Register myself as the Qualifying Party. That way we can take advantage of all the grants available to us. Anyone got any crazy, sneaky or clever ideas even if you don't have any experience with the Structural Pest Control Commission in Arizona? Any body think this is crazy, stupid, greedy or clever? I have 5 years in the pest control industry. I'll be starting the business no matter who is the official owner. I'll be serving all my own customers. I'm just trying to maximize my start-up potential to get this ball rolling.
